Becoming a UNC Bear

Use the link below to access your student portal, or, reset your password 如果你忘了.
If you have not already, activate your student Ursa account.
2. Tell Us 你的 Plans!
Click the Tell Us 你的 Plans form link on your admitted student checklist to accept or decline your offer of admission to UNC.
Students who wish to request to 推迟入学 to a future term must first tell us your 计划 and pay the deposit/request a waiver before requesting to defer.
3. 支付订金
The confirmation deposit for undergraduate students is $200 and can be paid online. After submission of the Tell Us 你的 Plans form you'll see a payment link appear in 门户.
Students who requested a need-based application fee waiver will automatically receive 存款豁免. Or, students who qualify can request a waiver when telling us your 计划.
你的 personalized student portal is your best resource for what's next. 访问您的 student Ursa account, custom checklist, find links to enrollment next steps, setup a 1:1 appointment with your admissions counselor, sign-up for New Student 取向, and more!

The 住房 Application for Fall 2024 opened Friday, December 1, 2023. 住房 placements are made on a first-come, first-serve basis so the earlier you submit your contract, the better your priority group and the earlier you can enter the room selection process.
要访问 住房 & 餐饮合同 and room selection process, you'll need to first setup your student Ursa Account and submit the decision form confirming your 计划 to enroll. After you've complete the confirmation process (including deposit or waiver), please allow at least 24-48 hours for systems to update.

New Student 取向
Welcome to our vibrant and diverse community of Bears! Whether you are joining us as a first-time college student or transferring from another institution, you are welcome here.
After you have submitted the decision form and made your 计划 official, an important next step is to sign-up for New Student 取向 (NSO). NSO sessions are strongly encouraged for admitted students 和一个re held through June 和7月. Registration begins in March and you can sign up in the admitted student portal.
取向 is free to attend and parents/support persons are encouraged to join. As a students-first university, UNC is committed to supporting your journey and that starts with setting you up for success through our New Student 取向 (NSO) programs.
